Video games. We love them and out of the hundreds, maybe thousands, of artists we talk to each year, a surprising amount want to help make them. Sometimes starting can be the hardest part, but if you've ever wanted to dip your toes into the video game scene, or are already making games and want a chance to meet new like-minded people, check out GLITCH's 2017 Gamecraft event!
Over 200 designers, artists, developers, and writers from around the Midwest gather for a 48-hour event scheduled to coordinate with this year's Global Game Jam. It doesn't matter your area of interest or level of skill, everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate!
Gamecraft 2017 runs January 20-22, 2017, and you can learn everything you need to know and register to participate on their website, www.gamecraft.mn or the Facebook event page!
So grab some friends, some coffee, and some creativity, and go make some games!
