Who said corpses are always scary? Sometimes they can bizarre, unexpected, and surreal, but ultimately friendly! Join us and other artists in the community for a night of collaboration, fun, and friends. 

According to Wikipedia, “Exquisite Corpse, also known as exquisite cadaver (from the original French term cadavre exquis) or rotating corpse, is a method by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled. Each collaborator adds to a composition in sequence, either by following a rule (e.g. "The adjective noun adverb verb the adjective noun", as in "The green duck sweetly sang the dreadful dirge") or by being allowed to see only the end of what the previous person contributed.” Tonight at Light Grey, we’ll get together, put on our best surrealist hats, and produce some unexpected results. You and the people around you can create comics, illustrations, stories, and any other creative and collaborative endeavor! The only rule is to not plan anything out! 

The night will be split into timed and themed segments that will be prepared by us here at Light Grey and drawn randomly. 

Some materials and paper will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your own as well! We will also have complimentary cider provided by Aamodt’s Apple Farm (https://www.aamodtsapplefarm.com/) and snacks available for purchase.
