Great Personality is a non-traditional pinup show featuring a series of sultry, seductive, personality-driven pinups inspired by the Myers-Briggs Personality Types. The project aims to explore the science behind attraction, ambiance, and allure, while also providing a greater understanding of why we are attracted to certain people and personalities. For the Great Personality exhibition, Light Grey Art Lab is releasing a series of four interactive dating-sim games, where players can meet, get to know, and eventually date each of the 32 characters through a series of conversations, choices, and exploration through a new and unknown city.
Thanks to everyone that has downloaded a copy of the first Great Personality game, Guardians! Lindsay Nohl is busy writing / coding the next installment, Idealists, and will be updating with more information soon on a release date! When we have time, we'll be releasing a V2.0 of Guardians, fixing some of the typos and adding some new bits here and there, but for now, we're focusing on getting the new games released! Questions? Send a note to hello@lightgreyartlab.com Thanks again for playing!
Great Personality
Artists, Artwork + Characters
The Myers-Briggs Personality Types is a test that divides people into four common personality temperaments: The Guardians, The Rationals, The Idealists, and The Artisans. Each type is determined by personal values, views of the world, strengths, motivations, and natural abilities. Within each group, there are four sub-groups, designated by letters representing the four dichotomies of personality, creating 16 personality types in all. Every personality type is important, offering a different perspective and talent into the world- we complete and motivate one another!
The Great Personality games allows you to interact, get to know, and eventually date each of these personality types, understanding them as people, friends, and potential mates. Great Personality celebrates diversity within people and relationships, and hopes to help players understand who we are attracted to, why we love the people we do, and the science behind our decisions.
