The Light Grey Residency Program: Team Plover included a diverse team of concept artists, photographers, illustrators, and fine artists from different areas of the globe. The Team Plover residents hail from various areas of the United States, India, Hungary, and beyond.
Throughout the program, artists traveled through Southern Iceland visiting some of the natural geothermal pools, caves, waterfalls, and basalt beaches -- some of the most secluded and sublime landscapes.

Archana Vikram is an Fine Art and Architectural Photographer (b. 1971, Bombay, India). She currently resides in Bangalore, India. She is drawn to the form and function of structures and building endeavors with the intention to capture these as visualised by the architect and often beyond. Her art is interpretative of the theme and tries to present not what can be seen but what should be felt or conveyed. Although she works independently, Archana also enjoys collaborative projects and finds these rich learning and rewarding experience.
Elsa Chang

Elsa Chang studied illustration at Art Center College of Design and graduated with a BFA in 2010. She was a visual development trainee in 2012 for the Walt Disney Animation Studios. She went on to work as a character designer at Sony Animation, Paramount Animation, Nickelodeon and DreamWorks TV Animation.

Alice is an illustrator and designer based in San Francisco. She's loved to draw ever since she could wrap her stubby little fingers around a pencil, and has been holding onto it ever since. At the moment she spends her days freelancing, and nights experimenting with inks and paint both physical and digital. When she is not drawing or working Alice can most often be found cuddling her two devastatingly cute cats, Marshmallow and Mochi.
Judit Neubauer

Judit Neubauer is a food photographer, chef and writer living in a small village in Northwestern Hungary. She earned a degree in economics but later decided to be a chef and committed herself completely to gastronomy. She got a degree in culinary arts, was trained in France and later opened her own bistro in the heart of Budapest. She had her own gastronomic section in a Hungarian home&lifestyle magazine for three years while she became passionate about food photography and started to learn and practice it. After living in many countries in Europe she decided to go back to her roots and moved to the village where her grandmother was born. Her bilingual blog, Taste of Memories is about life in the Hungarian countryside. While she is bringing new life into the 90 year-old house and orchard of 18 fruit trees she cooks and bakes her family’s old recipes and tries to preserve traditions and old knowledge about how to live in rhythm and harmony with nature.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. A Conceptual artist by training, in 2009 Ellen left a decades long career in the arts non-profit sector to pursue her own business. Convinced that one should be able to make a living doing the things that she loves, she combined her passion for fine art photography with her deep love of dogs. Today she runs a thriving pet photography studio in Oakland, California.
Currently, She serves as the President of theSF CameraWork Board of Directors. She previously served as the chair of the SF Camerawork Benefit Auction where she transformed the annual benefit auction and raised over one hundred thousand dollars for this important Bay Area institution. Before joining the crew at SF Camerawork, she served as president of the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery to support emerging artists and provide expertise and contacts to promote their work.

Adam Hoppus is a Product Designer and Illustrator living and working in Minneapolis, MN for Target Corporation. He graduated from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2004 with a degree in Animation, Illustration and Graphic Design. After a brief career in animation he switched gears and became Product Designer for Target Corporation working on multiple product categories including apparel, bedding, toys, party décor and even pharmaceuticals. He has won multiple internal design awards, has several design and utility patents and is now one of the lead children’s product designers at the company. Outside of work he participates in gallery shows around the U.S. and is currently working on his first board game for his own game studio.

As a freelance artist, she has worked for clients in the editorial, advertising, entertainment and publishing industries. She also regularly participates in gallery shows and conventions. Aidan is a costume designer currently dividing her time between New Orleans, Seattle, and Los Angeles. She enjoys traveling, watercolors, and horror movies (good and bad). When not working on set, she takes costume commissions for Halloween and conventions, and spends her free time working on clothing for children with physical and mental design challenges. She never finishes a video game anymore, but keeps trying anyway.

Jared D. Weiss is a storyboard artist, animator and designer currently living and working in Los Angeles, having worked for such studios as Disney TV Animation, Warner Bros Animation and Fox ADHD. In addition, Jared is the Art Director for the independent music label, Otherworldly Mystics, which specializes in cassette tape releases. Jared is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he made his thesis film, Transmission, which screened and competed in over 15 festivals around the world.
