Inspired by the 100 year anniversary of our National Parks system, Light Grey Art Lab led a group of creatives through one of our nation's most extreme landscapes -- The Grand Tetons.
During the four day art camp, we explored the trails, pools, and scenery surrounding the striking peaks of Grand Teton National Park. We explored the pristine mountain lakes and learned about the creatures that thrive in this wild environment. Our day trips included visits to the Teton Raptor Center, the National Museum of Wildlife Art, Jenny Lake, Kelly Warm Springs, the natural hot springs, and more. We hiked the forest trials, sketching wildlife in their natural habitat and exploring our surroundings together.
The Light Grey Art Camp to Grand Teton National Park gave artists a chance to challenge themselves and converse amongst the dramatic landscape. Artists had the opportunity to focus on their creative practice as they observed the many wonders, trails, and animals existing around them.
