Join Light Grey and guest teacher Keeli O’Brien for a three-hour workshop in understanding Runes as tools for self-reflection and guidance through communication with our subconscious. This class will not only teach you about the Runes, but also allow you to create your own!
Runes are an ancient tool of divination, yet separate from the art of “fortune telling”. Similar to Tarot cards, they help unveil messages and secrets from within oneself, providing advice and suggestions rather than definitive answers.
This workshop will first walk you through how to make your own personal set of runes, with materials included, followed by a tutorial of rune reading. We will delve into the symbolism behind each rune and discuss how to interpret them, then finish with a time for practice, so that participants will gain a well-rounded knowledge of the Runes and their uses.
This workshop is for beginners AND practiced readers. Feel free to participate whether or not you have experience with Runes, or have never heard of them! You will be provided with the materials needed to create your own runes, allowing everyone to leave with their very own personalized set of 24 stones and an instructional booklet on how to use them!
We’ll practice reading with a few basic spreads in class, so participants can practice their new knowledge with others!
